Dashboard Concert/Why do i feel so old?

So, I attended a Dashboard Confessional concert last night with my lover kash. While we waited for the concert to start, we could not help but notice alllll of the younger people around. I feel as though we have reached that point in life where more of the "kids" you see are younger than you rather than older. It's a rather weird observation. This pertains especially to girls. It was nice as a 15 year old guy, to scout out girls and feel as though it would be deemed "acceptable" by society to date any girl you saw. Now, we have to pick and choose who to pursue and who not to (or we should do that, not everyone does).

Another thing last night that made me feel old was this opening group called Say Anything. Basically, they were the epitome of punk rockers. The lead singer screamed the whole time (although he sang during Dashboard's set with a nice voice) and the others did the headbanging routine. The funniest (because it was so stupid) lyrics I heard by that band were "I called her last night and she touched herself". Kash and I could not get over this. It was the lamest line of lyrics ever, but if I were 15 again it probably would have been amazing to me. Funny how things change.

PS -> Dashboard puts on a good show, but expect moments where you would like to kill yourself due to the extremely depressing songs
